But at the same time, RedShip grew a lot and had its best month ever. Entrepreneurship really is a roller coaster. You gain a customer, you lose another. One product slows down, another starts growing. You just have to keep going: → Understand what you need to improve → Talk to users and learn from them → Keep marketing your products → Double down on what is working Some months will be better than others. My goal is still the same: Keep moving forward and reach at least €5k/month 🫡

There's a question I keep asking myself, and I think every indie hacker eventually does: "Can I make a living entirely from my existing projects? Or do I need a new one?" I made €2,770 in April across 4 products. That's not nothing. But to actually cover my expenses, taxes, and live the way I want, I need to roughly 2x that. €5-6k MRR is the real target. The honest answer changes depending on the day. Some days I think: yes. RedShip is growing fast, MyFeedIn is recovering, Rankr is just getting started. Stay focused. Push them. Other days I think: I've been at €2-3k MRR for months. Maybe none of these will get me where I need to go. Maybe I need to build the next one. I notice the pattern though: the days I want to "build the next one" are usually the days I haven't done any marketing. When the numbers don't move, building something new feels like the answer. It almost never is. So this is my rule for now: I'm not allowed to start anything new until RedShip + MyFeedIn + Rankr collectively hit €5k MRR. Not because new ideas are bad. Because I already have 3 good ones, and "starting something new" is sometimes just expensive procrastination.

I always default to building… because it’s easy. You know what to do, you see progress fast. But that’s not what moves the needle. Distribution does. And that applies to all of them. That’s my focus for the next months.

MyFeedIn is slower though: €872 vs €1,320 in January (about -34%). Big reminder for me: the difference is rarely “more features”. It’s MARKETING March goal: 3000€. Let’s see if I can pull it off.
